Big Dry Creek Force Main and Channel Improvements

Centennial Water and the Highlands Ranch Metro District are conducting a joint project on the Links Golf Course. It is scheduled to be complete in the spring of 2019. The project includes the installation of a 20-inch underground line that will ensure Centennial Water can continue to provide reliable wastewater services to the community of Highlands Ranch.

As part of the Metro District Channel Stabilization Program, a portion of the lower channel of the West Fork of Big Dry Creek, where the new line crosses, will be improved.

Well A-2 Re-drill

Centennial Water began re-drilling a water supply well, referred to as A-2, at the existing site north of Wildcat Reserve Parkway and west of Summit View Parkway in May. Drilling activities will likely last through June. The purpose of the project is to maintain high-quality water service to Highlands Ranch customers.

The nature of the drilling process requires the work to be continuous until drilling and testing are complete. This is a 24-hour-a-day operation and requires the area to be illuminated for the safety of the workers. Following the drilling, some site improvement activities will continue through the summer.
